Hey guys! Today I will show you all how to install cyanogenmod 9.1 Beta 5 on Galaxy Y.
So for all those who are not familiar with cyanogenmod based roms cyanogenmod is an open source operating system for smartphones . It is developed as free and open source based on the official android released by google.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :
1) boot in recovery and flash cwm recovery
2) flash the ROM (in this case only kernel will be flashed), then flash the ext4 formatter, then go advanced and reboot recovery.
3) now wipe data, cache and dalvik cache, then flash the rom. If it takes less than 6-7 seconds then you made something wrong. (normal flash should last at least from 10 to 20 seconds)
4) mount /system and flash the gapps
5) you rock now reboot system and enjoy
